WELCOME
This unique gem in Copenhagen is the artistic heritage of the French-Algerian artist Manuel Tafat, who had his work in Copenhagen for the last 30 years of his life. It is his life's work, his palace, that you enter, and which association Art and Color, has the errand to take care of and communicate to the outside world.
Surrounded by countless color impressions, one enters the realm of mosaics. With inspiration and ideas taken from the artist's eventful life, one often finds his stories in the decoration. Among other things, he was inspired by the expressionist artists, such as Miro, Matisse, and the Spanish architect Antonio Gaudi. The term is at the same time navistical, and there has been great idea richness of texture, colors and shapes. The artists started in 1992 in connection with Kulturby 96 in Copenhagen, where the ceiling was to be included as part of an art installation. The work took over and today the whole place is a large 3D work of art.
Everywhere, from ceiling to floor, from walls to surfaces, you are drawn into Manuel's artistic universe, in which you can either sit and immerse yourself - with a glass of wine in, book a table for dinner or hold a larger party on site.
